Privacy Policy
Last Updated: November 15, 2024
At Indergo, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains our approach to data privacy. IMPORTANT: Indergo is an on-premise solution installed on YOUR servers. We do not collect, store, or have access to your industrial data, production information, or energy consumption details. Your data remains entirely within your control.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including: account registration information (name, email, company details), industrial device data (energy consumption, sensor readings, PLC data), usage data (how you interact with our platform), and technical data (IP addresses, browser type, device information).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to: provide and maintain our monitoring services, analyze energy consumption patterns, generate reports and analytics, improve our platform and develop new features, communicate with you about service updates, and ensure platform security and prevent fraud.
3. Data Storage and Security - ON YOUR PREMISES
ALL YOUR INDUSTRIAL DATA IS STORED ON YOUR OWN SERVERS. Indergo is installed within your facility or private infrastructure. We do not operate cloud servers that store your data. You maintain complete control over your data storage, backups, security policies, and access controls. Your industrial data never leaves your network unless you explicitly configure external integrations.
3.1. What Data We Actually Collect
We only collect minimal, non-industrial data necessary for software licensing and support: license key information, installation metadata (server specs, not data content), and optional usage statistics (feature usage, not actual values). This information is used solely for license validation and product improvement. You can opt-out of usage statistics at any time.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We CANNOT share your industrial data because we don't have access to it. Your data resides on your servers. We do not sell, rent, or share any information. The minimal licensing data we collect (license keys, installation metadata) is never shared with third parties except as required by law.
5. Data Retention and Ownership
YOU OWN ALL YOUR DATA. Since all industrial data is stored on your servers, you control retention policies, backup schedules, and data lifecycle. We retain only licensing information for the duration of your subscription. If you terminate your license, we delete all licensing records upon request. Your industrial data remains on your servers under your complete control.
6. Your Rights and Control
Since Indergo is installed on your infrastructure, you have COMPLETE CONTROL over your data. You can: access all data at any time (it's on your servers), modify or delete any data, export data in any format, configure backup and retention policies, control who has access within your organization, and disconnect from any external services. No permission from us is required for any data operations.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage patterns, and maintain session information. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
8. Data Security - Your Responsibility, Your Control
Data security is under YOUR control since Indergo runs on your infrastructure. You implement your own security policies, firewalls, access controls, and encryption standards. Indergo supports industry-standard security features (role-based access, audit logs, encrypted PLC communication), but YOU decide how to configure and enforce them. Your data is protected by your existing security infrastructure and never exposed to external networks unless you choose to do so.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the 'Last Updated' date.
